Firstly – well done choir, great pub turn out on Monday. Lovely to see so many people and I am sure Susie appreciated the rousing ‘happy birthday’ sung with great gusto. No Welsh spit so umbrellas were not required by English softies.
El Maestro has sent the rehearsal schedule for next Monday – probably because he is keen we put in some practice (p77 onwards is a bit tricky and certainly justifies my investment in the Choraline CD!).

O salutaris ESM (please make sure you all have copies – either a pdf or the book!)
Et resurrexit (New)
Cum sancto p77 – this is the hardest movement, if you have 5 minutes this is definitely where it will help the most!
Et vitam (new)

PLUG FOR THE CONCERTS, BOX VILLAGE HALL (Sat eve 9th and Sun afternoon 10th May)
Zoe made an announcement about these concerts last Monday. I have attached a flier for the tea for two concert. Just to remind you, the tea for two concert is in aid of Minpins (Sunday 11th May at 3:30pm) so it would be great to support this one if you can only attend one. Tickets are £10 and we hope to have some on Monday. I’ll get details of the other and send to you.

it appears that we have a few resident wits in the choir. No clear winner – though Brough submitted most of the entries so if there is a prize for number of entries – Brough you are the clear winner. I have attached the captions in a PDF for you to enjoy!

Do join us after rehearsals. Directions to the Old Crown, Ruscombe Road (next to Archway school). Turn right out of Marling or Beards Lane onto Caincross. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit past the fire station and follow up to the mini-roundabout. Take the first exit and then immediately take the first left into Ruscombe Road – also signposted to Archway school. The Pub is on the right – however take a right as if going into the school and immediate left into the car park.
