Please ensure you have downloaded and printed the pdfs and have your copies of 100 CFC and/or European Sacred Music. See last week’s email or the member’s area of the website for the PDF’s and details of the books.
The reason we use so many pdfs is to save money and effort for librarians as it is all available for free online. Christmas and some summer concerts are a good chance to learn a big variety of repertoire e.g. Renaissance music and Russian (Rachmaninov) in this instance!

See attached “Stroud Christmas Concert” for the correct list.

Many thanks to those who helped on Saturday. Please pass our thanks to friends and partners.

GERONTIUS RECORDING
Monday is your last chance to reserve your copies of the recording. Please bring your £10.

GERONTIUS TICKET MONEY
We are short by 13 tickets on the income on ticket sales. Please ensure you have paid for all tickets taken.

GERONTIUS ATTENDANCE OF REHEARSALS
Congratulations to the basses who had the best attendance, closely followed by the 2nd altos! Sop 1 came next(phew!) followed by tenors. Alto 1 next with sop 2s limping in at the last! Actually, attendance was pretty good overall although could have been better on the last 2 rehearsals.

GLASSES FOUND AT TEWKESBURY
Let me know if you lost a pair of glasses, apart from Jenny Voss!

STROUD CHORAL CHRISTMAS CARDS
Available on Monday, £5 for 10, proceeds to our funds!

AUCTION
If you have not already done so, please could you write on a card exactly what you are offering for auction and give it to Susie Williams or Veronica(Elgar hater) next Monday. The lots will be going on to a live auction site and people must know precisely what they are bidding for!

Also, please could we ask for bottles of, jars of, and small gifts that can go into a Tombola which we are holding after the Christmas concert in Beeches Green.

CHRISTMAS HAMPERS, PROCEEDS SHARED WITH US
Perhaps your number 3 Christmas present could be the lovely Christmas hamper I have to offer.
They are very attractive to look at and all contents have been made at William Morris House College from locally grown products.
Proceeds after costs will be divided between Stroud Choral and WMH.

I will then arrange to have them at the rehearsals or last chance at our Christmas concert.

Thanks
Adrian

RING PULLS. Message from Kay Sandells
Thank you so much to all those who have been collecting ring pulls for the Philippine Community Fund. Last Friday’s sale of bags etc made from them was a great success. The founder of the charity has awarded us a certificate of thanks which I will be handing over at next week’s rehearsal. Thanks to people like you, many children have been lifted out of abject poverty to lead dignified and successful lives. So please keep collecting!
