SEMI CHORUS MESSAGE FROM HUW

Dear everyone,
Thank you to all who were brave enough to come forward for a semi-chorus audition! I hope it wasn’t too frightening. I know that adults especially find tests and auditions quite terrifying so I do appreciate your courage!
This is an experiment, partly based on the requirements for the Dream of G, but also based on future plans and I’d like to keep reviewing the semi-chorus perhaps with auditions regularly, possibly once or twice a year.
Even though sadly not every singer was successful, it was lovely to get to know a few new people whom I didn’t previously know. So a big thank you again to all of you who came forward!
I’ve selected the following singers:

Cecile Ithurbide
Lindsey Murphy
Mel Brown

We’ve already got several performers lines up, including Sarah Connolly and Alan Fairs, lots of surprised, and a fundraising auction. The audience will sit at tables with buffet food and drinks We need members to drum up their wealthy friends to come to the event (tickets £30) and to bring their cheque books! We also need you to come up with promises and items that we can auction. More details to be announced. It’s going to be a great night out!
